The Bradfield's (founders of HTHM) sent their son, Glen, to a CIY church camp in Glorieta, New Mexico, just three months after they had sold everything they owned—including their home—to purchase the land where the Tiny House Village will be built.
While at camp, Glen was unexpectedly brought on stage, out of 2000 kids to do the scripture reading. The passage assigned to him was Acts 2:45: “They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.”
His youth pastor was stunned at the unmistakable confirmation of what God was doing in their family. He shared Glen’s story with the camp director, recognizing the powerful way the Lord was weaving it all together.
A few months after camp, CIY reached out to the Bradfield's to ask permission to create a film telling their story for the camp the following year. God gave over 26,000 people of the church, across the country the precious opportunity to pray for God's oppressed daughters, their children and pets.
